This course will focus on defensive pistol fundamentals. Includes shooting around and behind barriers, from the ground, and from compromised positions.
The wound management component has a heavy focus on mitigating bleeding, performing self-aid, buddy aid, in an active shooter environment. At times there will be shooting strong side and support side only.
All participants will learn how to apply tourniquets, pack wounds, and apply pressure dressing while under stress.
This is a dynamic course for intermediate and advanced shooters only.
All participants will receive:
- Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) Level 1 Certificate
- North American Rescue Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK)
- 100 rounds of lead-free ammunition
- Catered lunch
