This training is Mike and Pat’s signature course.

This fast-paced course is designed to give attendees a technical and practical understanding of effectively employing their pistol from a covertly concealed location. The evaluation metric is the CTT-Solutions MEC (Marksmanship Evaluation Course).

This course is based upon Mike and Pat’s collective 50+ years of operational and training experience with firearms.

Course Goals

• Safely make the student an extremely competent legal concealed pistol carrier (civilian, law enforcement, or military)

• Provide a foundation of drills and concepts for the student to maintain his/her skills at their range.

This course is geared toward all civilian, law enforcement, and military personnel involved in detective work, undercover operations, covert surveillance operations, V.I.P. protection details, and everyday off-duty or legally permitted carry.

This is the next evolution of the CTT-Solutions Covert Carry course taught for the last six years. The new curriculum emphasizes movement in the form of turns and traditional shooting while moving. There will also be an emphasis on multiple targets and strict accountability of marksmanship, all while heavily emphasizing high-performance gun handling skills from concealment.

All shooting will be from 10-25 yards, outside of sight-zero verification, and one string on one drill. All shooting will begin facing away from the target at either 90 or 180. The curriculum is built around a non-compensated, optics-mounted handgun with a 4.9” barrel or less because that is what most people carry for work or EDC and is the size of most duty guns.

The course will require:

· 500 rounds of ammunition

· Serviceable handgun of 9mm or larger caliber

· Pistol Mounted red/green dot Electro-Optical sight (highly recommended but not required)

· Electronic hearing protection (safety requirement)

· Concealment holster (no duty rigs with a shirt over it unless you’re LE and that’s your duty setup)

· Multiple common garments that the shooter wears

· 4 magazines and a minimum of 1 mag carrier (no pocket carry of magazines allowed)
